An elongated cushion in an old mine cut of 1 to 5 carats, set in a milgrain bezel above a split shank band, the most vintage-influenced design in the collection.

This ring features an elongated cushion old mine-cut laboratory-grown diamond of 1.00, 2.00, 3.00, 4.00 or 5.00 carats, enclosed in a milgrain bezel setting, in the colour and clarity grades available at each carat weight (listed under Details). The old mine cut, a precursor to the modern brilliant cut with a more open culet, higher crown, and smaller table, produces a softer, warmer light return than contemporary brilliant cuts, with a romantic, antique quality that distinguishes it from every other ring in the Claritas line. The elongated cushion silhouette gives a squarer, more traditional cushion profile.

The milgrain bezel, a continuous rim of gold decorated with a fine line of tiny bead-work along its upper edge, frames the stone with a detail that references antique jewellery craftsmanship. Below, the band splits into two shanks that frame a negative space before joining at the back of the ring, providing a graceful, architectural connection between setting and shank.

Optically, chemically, and physically identical to mined diamonds, every stone is selected for its exceptional colour and clarity, not as an alternative, but as a deliberate choice.
