Pay over time
Spread the cost across monthly payments with Mobicred or RCS, two established South African credit providers. You apply to the provider once, then choose it at checkout and settle your balance monthly. As these are regulated credit facilities, interest and fees apply and approval is subject to their terms. The full rates and terms are set out below so you can see exactly what is involved.
Rates and terms
Mobicred and RCS are regulated South African credit facilities, both provided by RCS Cards (an authorised credit provider, NCRCP 38). They are revolving accounts, so there is no fixed repayment term. You pay a minimum amount each month and can settle early at any time with no penalty. The figures below are current and set by the provider, who confirms your exact rate, fees and limit when you apply. Because the rates are linked to the South African Reserve Bank repo rate, they can change over time.

As a guide only, on a R20,000 balance repaid over about twelve months, Mobicred interest works out to roughly R150 to R200 a month on top of the capital. Your actual monthly amount depends on the rate you are approved for and how quickly you repay. Mobicred and RCS confirm your exact rate, fees and repayments before you commit.
