Heritage & Co. lists ring sizes in US numbers throughout the site, with the equivalent UK and South African letter shown alongside. Your size is always confirmed in writing before a piece goes into production, so there is no need to guess to the exact quarter size now.

If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Getting it right

Three ways to find her size

  • One

Measure a ring she already wears on the correct finger. Lay it over a ruler and measure the inside width from edge to edge, or wrap a strip of paper around the inside and mark where it meets, then measure that length. Match either figure to the chart above.

  • Two

Bring it to a jeweller. A quick, in person measurement with a ring sizer is the most reliable way to confirm a size, and takes only a few minutes.

  • Three

Ask us to post a ring sizer. Message us on WhatsApp and we can post one to you, so you can measure at home before your order is confirmed.

Read carefully

Things that change the reading

  • Fingers run about half a size smaller in cold weather. If you are measuring in winter or somewhere air conditioned, add half a size to what you read.
  • Fingers swell slightly through the day. Measure in the evening rather than first thing in the morning for the truest reading.
  • A wider band sits more snugly than a narrow one on the same finger. For a band of 6 mm or more, add a quarter to half a size to the measurement above.
  • The dominant hand is usually slightly larger than the other, so measure the correct hand and finger for the ring.

Uncertain

Not sure?

If you cannot settle on an exact size, choose the closest one at checkout, or mark the size as to be confirmed. We will follow up on WhatsApp before production begins so nothing is guessed. Every Heritage & Co. piece is made to order, which means the ring is sized precisely to your measurement before it is ever cast, rather than adjusted afterwards.

This chart follows the ISO 8653 international ring sizing standard. Conversions between the US, UK, South African and EU systems are approximate to within a quarter size, since each system rounds at a different point.
